The Crown

This is an Echinacea, also known as a Coneflower. I was enamored of the perspective here. We normally only see these flowers from above but this view from below allows you to see the crown formed underneath. It is pointed and sharp and reminded me of the Crown of Thorns worn by Jesus at His crucifixion.
